SCOTTISH OPERA
Community Art Project
In 2021 I took part in a Scottish Opera project that was a bit different than usual. It involved working with two groups of women from the Scottish Borders.
📷✍️🖌🎼 I, along with poet Jenny Lindsay, illustrator Iain Piercy and music composer Karen MacIver led a series of workshops and through art, poetry and music, unleashed their creativity and expressed their most difficult emotions. Our starting point was the novel of Sir Walter Scott, The Bride of Lammermoor, and the opera inspired by it Lucia di Lammermoor (by Gaetano Donizetti).
The project culminated in an exhibition in Glasgow and in Galashiels.
For this project I led the photography workshops, as well as participating in the curation of the actual exhibition, making posters, zap stands and motion graphics for screens.

Digital interactive performance for primary school pupils (2021)
As Glasgow prepared to host the COP26, Scottish Opera produced a story with 5 songs to dance and learn to teach pupils about the threats of climate change.
For this project, I worked on the post-production (Premiere Pro and After Effects) and helped out during the production with backing up files and logging them. I also took portraits of the actors as well as BTS shots during production.

European environmental bureau
The European Environmental Bureau is a network of around 170 environmental citizens' organisations based in more than 35 countries.
I've carried out several projects for them, below are some of my favourite.
Zero Mercury Working Group is an international coalition (with more than 55 countries involved!) that strives for “zero supply, demand, and emissions of mercury from all anthropogenic sources”.
Mercury is toxic to humans and it’s unfortunately used in a number of fields, such as cosmetics (especially skin bleaching products) dentistry, lighting and the list goes on.
As part of an awereness campaign they commisioned me a video explainer, a logo animation of the project, a series of posters and roll-ups, and zoom backgrounds.

For this manifesto, which included 5 main points, I represented each of them with a bespoke icon.

The report was about reimagining a fairer way of approaching work in a greener, no-growth economy future. It highlights the importance of not only focusing on creating more jobs in the energy sector but thinking about unpaid care workers, education, work time reduction, and nationally funded job guarantee schemes.

Protesting against Climate Change wasn't enough for me and I wanted to put my skills at the service of climate change communication for Duegradi.

Heritage Digital Marketing Project
Prehistone Scotland, my BA Digital Media (Hons) dissertation project is a digital heritage promotion campaign prototype that focuses on Scottish Prehistoric Archaeological Sites. The campaign is aimed to be pitched to Historic Environment Scotland and delivered to the general public. The prototype includes a digital marketing research and strategy document as well as a branding style guide, various design materials, a website (desktop and mobile) wireframe and an interactive map to be implemented in the website.

Community Garden
I've been a member of the G3 Growers community garden since 2021, and I've volunteered to help with managing the promotion and communication of the great work we do!
I've created a website, took photos, designed a new logo and brand identit, managed our social media accounts and created content for it.
